MISSION PLANNING MEETING  The next planning session for our Parish Mission will be held on Monday 1st December @ 7:30pm in the Parish Centre. This will be a most significant meeting as Fr. Tim Buckley CSSR (who will lead the visiting missioners) will be in attendance. The style of the proposed mission is one where the Parish have a significant and crucial input so we will be discussing what we hope to include in the mission (Liturgy, Service and other meetings), as well as the more practical aspects of how to prepare for those activities and make them fruitful. Once more, everyone is Invited.

 ADVENT PRAYER MEETINGS

There will be a series of three Advent prayer meetings to be held in church on the 4th, 11th and 18th of December at 7.30pm. All are invited. These meetings will lead to the Advent Reconciliation Service (with Confession) on Monday 22nd December also at 7.30pm. Details of these will be available at the end of November.   In anticipation of our Advent Prayer Meetings, Several thousand invitations cards will be distributed at the end of November to as may households as possible in the Parish. We will have envelopes and Invitation cards at the back of the Church at the end of the month and volunteers are required to post them in letter boxes before the beginning of December. This is part of our mission out reach by which we encourage people to reflect on their relationship with Jesus especially in preparation for Christmas. Further details will be available nearer the time.
